The core gameplay loop is satisfying, the environments are pretty, and I was surprisingly engaged by the text lore entries and exploration elements. Lots of the games appeal relies on gambling-dopamine, which may be a reason to avoid it for certain audiences. The long-term overarching progression can get a little bit too drawn out for my tastes but overall isn't necessary for a regular, enjoyable experience. Because this is so closely tied to in-game challenges, it provides a variety of venues for players to push boundaries to try to approach the game from a variety of directions.
