Interesting game. Music, aesthetics, and gameplay all failed to impress me tremendously. Everything was largely incoherent and inconsistent, and while that might be the cup of tea of some folks, it's certainly not mine.

But what stuck out to me was a storyline and set of themes that frustrated me to no end. The game presents an interesting moral question at its heart, and proceeds to painfully neglect it. A variety of philosophical implications and even logical inconsistencies plague the story in a manner that felt designed to specifically get under my skin. Furthermore, the key ideas are obfuscated by a lot of surreal randomness which I usually suspect has no meaning whatsoever- the goal being to make the game seem weird and arbitrary with the insinuation that there is some value in that itself.

That being said, I think I would still recommend this game. At the very least, it forced me to confront a lot of these questions, and ask myself: Why do I feel the way I do about this subject? Grinding through some mediocre RPG mechanics and combat was a small price to pay for that, I reckon.
