Whacky, zany, super fun and super cute game. I expected a mindless top-down shooter but I got a really nice narrative package and adorable aesthetic on top. It rewards my perfectionism just perfectly enough to reinforce all of my bad habits moving forward, which is super validating.

Rewards exceptional performance with story bits and trinkets more than anything that'd actually help with the game. In this manner, it dodges the issue of making the game easier when you're better at it that almost every game I play these games has. Maybe I just have bad luck, but I'm very grateful for that in particular.

Did everything Heat Signature tried to do, just a bit better.
