A fairly generic ghost story which fails to be any sort of scary or mysterious, instead presenting a pretty bland depiction of some character struggles which it is impossible to view from any meaningful perspective. If it weren't for the inaccessible English, this book might be able to be considered mediocre, but as it stands it is really straining to read and not rewarding to finish. It would be best to search for alternatives.
