The Stranger

did not like it

A failure of a thought experiment. Hailed as one of the leaders of existential thought, Albert Camus simply isn't very capable of writing a coherent story about morality, much less an entertaining one. A lot of the dilemmas, question, and attitudes depicted don't really hold water when analyzed critically, or at the very least, they don't present much depth. A lot of the critical points explored in The Stranger have likely already been over-analyzed by anybody who has an interest in reading it, and as such it is best passed up for something else more stimulating.
