Significantly improving upon its predecessor, the Palace of Mad King Ludwig features a high degree of player interaction. By having all players work together on the same construction, bizarre elements of blocking and stealing potential make for some interesting interactions. A lot of the mechanics feel somewhat cumbersome and arbitrary, and it's really hard to discern winning strategies from pointless engine-idling.
