Mage Knight is an incredibly vast, complex, and difficult game. It runs excellently as a solitaire and seats small player groups well, incorporating a variety of different victory conditions. Mage knight consistently presents players with some of the most fascinating decisions, trade offs, and problem solving opportunities offered by board games to date. It is characterized, however, by its incredibly long play time; I would often times play solitaire games over the course of several games, because trying to go through it all at once was emotionally exhausting. This game will hold a special place in my heart for a long time.
