Cute, satisfying, clear cut, and accessible, King of Tokyo provides a very solid experience overall which is easy enough to pick up that it can be played in a wide variety of settings. The aesthetic of the game is a little pretty, but not memorably so. In terms of the dice-rolling and re-rolling strategy, there's enough so that it isn't boring but it is never a particularly arduous decision making process.
