Kemet is a pretty area control game which hinges around competition for limited spots on its tech trees. It has some of the best card-combat which area control has to offer, making each individual engagement extremely fun and rewarding, even if the players enter the encounter at different power levels. The long term strategy of the game is difficult to grasp, but it is a joy to play around with in a shorter-term tactical sense. The competition for spots on the tech tree especially can be somewhat stressful and exceedingly aggressive.
