A really intense, complicated strategy game. Gaia project often feels like building up a space empire upon very fragile glass and sand pillars that can easily be knocked out from beneath you by other players, but aren't because they are concurrently trying to keep their own pillars from collapsing under their own weight. This all comes together for a fairly stressful experience, but also cultivates a sort of kinship between the players at the table. Surprisingly, Gaia project isn't especially aggressive, as one might expect.
