Dominant species is insanely stressful and cutthroat, but undeniably a solid game. Players' entire prehistoric engines are sustained by extremely fragile resource supplies which are constantly collapsing and changing hands as players compete in an area-control style for extremely limited board space. Dominant species notably suffers for an excessive play time for an experience which players can be easily eliminated from in the first couple of rounds.
