Say what you will about AI rotting our brains, but there is no world in which it would have been worth the return on investment to learn jujutsu otherwise. Even if AI were taken away from me right now, I’d be so much more of an efficient and effective developer than I would have been in a world where I couldn’t spare the time to learn these new skills.

Life is amazing right now. I can read so many books and technical blogs and practice all kinds of new skills! The fact that I’m even practicing writing at all is in large part thanks to AI taking the tedious implementation and QA tasks off my shoulders in my personal projects! I feel like I’m not even living in the same world as the people who say it’s making them less smart (though I’m sure those people would say I’m just imagining all the learning I’m doing due to AI psychosis, or whatever).

(Also, Jujutsu definitely has issues, but it’s nice to expect more out of my VCS).
